The World Around me !!!

I had no idea of what I had read when I saw that a country like Japan was tattered along their coasts. When a tsunami happened in India , (Dec 2004) , I wasn't aware of the consequences and the life threat. I hardly read newspapers, but after a certain time we tend to keep locked with the news.
The calamity that shook the world was very close to my heart. I had watched the footages of the disaster for a long time and wondered that there was something which is going to come... the end of the era.. a new beginning has to begin...!!
Life is as short as the flower, which blooms up in a moment and next moment it is no more.
There were many things which came to my mind while watching the calamity that had happened.

What would be our state if we lived not the next moment?
What would happen if the world around us became blank and void ?
Could I PAUSE for a while and do the undo ?

All these seem like a big question , which could never be answered....

Life treats you well when we go in accordance to its rules...if we mess with Life, it surely does the same... same goes with Nature... and the ultimate invisible ruler, who watches every walk of our life, knows what we are !! 

Heaps and Tons !

Heaps of butter and spoons of sugar,
Made bread like the cake...

Heaps of love and spoons of care,
Made gave me a chance to live again !!

Tons of laughter and miles of smile..
Made the day happy and gay,
Tons of joy and miles of journey
Made life to be relived everyday !!

Songs of birds and they chirping again..
Made me to wander in the nature..
The flowers swaying away,
Made me more into you !!

Heaps of love..
Tons of care..
From the one you love,
Makes moments special Aways!!

My Saviour

My Savior of life,
In thy boat I stand..
Lead me in path of Life..

Who called it LOVE ??

Let me mix and match the colors of life..
Let me try to catch the moments of sand..
Let me cry to the beauty of nature...

Let the waters flow in the dry dams,
Let the flowers bloom all the seasons..
Let the bees collect the nectar and aroma..
Let the birds sing to you the song..

Let me once capture you in the frame..
Let me try to play with your names..
There hasnt anyone on the Earth Seen you
But all have heard your fame..

They try to give you names..
And say that its called "BEING IN LOVE"
But -
There seems to make a change in your being
As, someone else has taken your place..

I knew the path of your virtue,
I've heard the deeds and your fame..
I let it flow like a river beyond,
And hoped to see the change..

I wished that you could be living-being
Or an emotion which I could see..
I know not , who named you "Love"
But you are the mix of all pure deeds...
I know not who said - "That's called Love"
But I wondered and gazed ,
I know that you cant take the form of a being,
Then Why you were called Love?

I need a reason for your name,
Coz everyone has the same..
Let me get engrossed in you

I found this feeling or abstract ..
Or whatever you call,
Of late I met someone so true..
I forgot your name
or your being
and then thought its you

I could not capture the feelings
I could hold you back...
Lo ! when you came into my Life
You were always full of smile...

I never wanted to miss you
And I said "I do"
You asked me for a prayer,
And I said
"For-ever and Ever" !!

Our date!!

Walking down the lonely roads
In the city of Magarpatta..
We took a strole and walked
Past the shopping malls..

The night seemed so serene
and the peaceful breeze made me swing
The hush hush  sound from the leaves
made our date pure..

Under the care of nature
under the skies so blue
We waited on
And saw nothing was new

The stars were shimmering in the sky
And we were still walking by
No noise or din
were we could sway and sing

I wished that the night paused
Under the skies and stars
When I could hear your whispers
The running thoughts on your mind

We stayed there for long
Undisturbed and unanswered
Just gazing at each other
ending into one another

Hope we could do this again
To relive our memories down the lane
When you come early
and i wait for you near the gate

Life as we saw that day
Was just a pause without a button to play
As we celebrated our love this day
Hope we could live our date !!

Juggling between words a few...

Untold thoughts...

I was thinking of one chance..
Where no one could ever find us
Where only U and I could be forever
Where our world would be a paradise..
There would be not a place... like Us...together...

I though of one word
which could describe you
And then I pondered..
You could never be completed without Me...

I hopped and leaped
To places far....
I searched throughout
and never met
the feeling which I could get..
When you are with me..

I Let a word,
that is dear to me
but never thought
that it would be..
so untaimed and unsaid..
but could not make it forget..

I clinged on you,
Like a dear one...
and you pecked on my cheek
and held me tight...
You huged and cajoled...
you made me whole...
Like the rain to the earth...
You smelt that nice...

I miss you a lot..
hope you'd know..
how life would be...without you being with me...

You needed time with me,
you held my hands tightly...
you made me wander in your thoughts
and sent away the time for a break

You gazed at my eyes
and fell for my smile...
never understood, I , the though of crime,
coz , I was killing you each moment
like one who falling down from sky..

You came upto me and said,
"Pretty Lady, could we wed"
and let out the sparkling ring,
which was supposed to be the link.

I made myself clear,
that I wouldnt let one tear,
from my eye , before I part ,
From the ones whom I loved....

You were willing to hold my hand
and kept murmuring to yourself,
"I do ,I do..."
and then we came out
Wedded Happily ever !!

Now comes the time ,
To live life with words and deeds,
to abide by the promises kept..
and let each one know their steps..

Of all , I say,
Fair Prince you'd be mine..
even though we travel across the desert
I know that you'll take me through
ever pain and pleasure..
I'd love to say,
I am thine forever
And nothing can be more dearer...
Love  casteth its spell
and the cupid's arrow has dwelt..
somewhere in the past...
But Love is You ...in My Life...
and this I added as my ingredient of life !

Everything is Illuminated !!

 For ages, we have seen that great writes and poets have got into the groove of writing most eloquent novels and poems ; where William Shakespeare , William Wordsworth , Rabindranath Tagore etc are some people whom I adore for their works.

As a child I saw my father reading everything , even a small peice of paper which was wrapped for the chaana-battanies .. I always used to think how people could read such thick-fat novels (I still used to read those comics during my childhood days , esp. Tinkle which my mum used to get it home !! )

During this stage of my life, I was only reading tinkle and a few comics which we used to get it at home. I never tried my hands on those novels of Agatha Christie or Famous Five etc. rather it never fascinated me much. I liked viewing the Cartoon Network all day long , even now , if I am alone at home , My TV would be switched on for the CN channel. I get Glued to the "Tom and Jerry Series" .
Alternately ,these days I am reading too much of Philosophy stuff... I had lots of readings on Philosophy, Leadership etc ... and then changed towards the Chick-lit.

I had visited my cousins in Chennai and was really shocked to see the book shelves full of novels and books. Each of them had a set of books which they were "the owners". I felt really nice to see so many books which they've read , on the contrary, I was discussing about a few good movies which i had seen (one among them was Marley and Me) , and told them to see that one !! Unfortunately , i got the reply as , its a novel based upon a dog which becomes a family member. Agast !!! ehh !! I dint now what to do !! At the same time (rather to be precised, during my graduation days )i had completed almost all the books of Sydney Sheldon and then I started to get into the track of reading books.....

I usually read lot of book reviews and try to pick the ones that interests me !! There are a few classics which I havent read till now !( I would read them for sure. ) I'd like to list them because I feel that they are the greatest works and book for all-time.

• Brids of Prey , Wilbur Smith

• Adventures of Huckleberry Finn , Mark Twain 
• The Canterbury Tales , Geoffrey Chaucer

• Life of Pi ,Yann Martel
• Arabian Nights

I donno whether I would be able to read all of these , but yes, One fine day this list would be struck out and I'll have the most memorable moment of my life.

I have seen many people reading the best sellers books' which are listed and they try to get them once the publishers set it out, but at the same time, some of them will not be able to justify the rating of the book. Its like seeing the super-duper flop movie during the premiere and walking out of the theater with broken hearts.

I always wish to own my books which I read and so I wait as long as I can to get the feeling of possession !!  By using the term "Feeling of Possession " , I would like to tell you that I was eagerly waiting to get the set of Calvin and Hobbes series - the best ever Comic I love to read. I just love Calvin Virtualizing about his friend Tiger, Hobbes and how he ends up almost all his conversation speaking about the crap that gets into his head and then retiring to his room !! Love it!! 

So, when I first saw this set in Landmark , it costed around Rs 9,999/- only. My heart sinked like the anchor into the water when the ship is set to halt !! And now everytime I go to the book stores I find the price decreasing. I had seen the latest listing of the set to Rs 4495/- in http://www.flipkart.com/. I will be waiting for a month or so and would grab this Priceless Possession Of mine.

Hope to check this listed stuff as they are More than Priceless !!
